How we work

Five phases.
Zero surprises.

Every project at SALMH Textiles follows the same structured process. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the moment your order is delivered.

01
Phase One

Submit Your Brief

Trigger: You reach out via WhatsApp, email, or our contact form.

The first step is simple: send us your project information using our Pre-Flight Brief checklist (see below). We need your item type, quantities, target budget per unit, colors, sizes, and your requested deadline.

Do not worry about having everything perfect. If you have reference photos or sketches, attach them. If you only have a rough idea, describe it as clearly as you can. We will tell you what else we need.

We do not take phone calls or in-person meetings at this stage. All communication is via WhatsApp Business or email so everything is documented and nothing gets missed.

02
Phase Two

Cost Calculation

Trigger: Your brief is received and complete.

Once we have your project details, we prepare a formal cost calculation. This is an itemised breakdown of what your product will cost to manufacture — including fabric, construction, finishing, branding elements, and any other project-specific costs.

This is a paid service. The fee is 100 MAD, payable via wire transfer. We send you the bank details, you confirm payment, and we begin the calculation immediately. Your quote is delivered within 24 to 48 hours.

Why do we charge for quotes? Because an accurate quote takes real work. And because it means every client we spend time on is genuinely moving forward.

100 MAD · Wire transfer · 24–48h delivery
03
Phase Three

Refinement

Trigger: You receive your cost calculation.

Once you have your quote, we discuss it together. If the number works for you, great — we move to sampling. If it's above your target, we talk through realistic adjustments.

Common adjustments that reduce cost without compromising quality:

  • Alternative fabric grade with similar hand-feel
  • Simplified construction in lower-stress areas
  • Different finishing or hardware options
  • Adjusted quantities to reach a better per-unit rate

All pricing adjustments are confirmed in writing before we proceed. Nothing is assumed.

04
Phase Four

Sampling

Trigger: Pricing is agreed in writing.

A physical sample is made in our atelier — your actual product, in your actual fabric, with your actual construction. You receive it, inspect it, and give feedback. We refine until it's exactly right.

You choose your pathway:

  • Option A — Standalone Sample: 500–1,000 MAD depending on complexity. No obligation to proceed with production after receiving the sample.
  • Option B — Order Advance: You place an advance on your full order. Sampling is included at no extra charge and we revise as many times as needed.

Your project enters our waitlist when your sample fee or advance is confirmed. Production does not begin until you approve the sample.

05
Phase Five

Production & Delivery

Trigger: Sample approved. Advance payment confirmed.

With sample approved and payment confirmed, your project moves into active production. We work through our queue on a first-come, first-served basis.

We provide a general timeframe during the waitlist period. A confirmed, binding delivery date is issued only when production officially begins on your specific order — not before. This is how we protect the quality of every project in our queue.

The Waitlist System

We operate a strict first-come, first-served production queue. This is not a capacity limitation — it is the foundation of our quality system. Every brand that works with us gets our full attention when their project starts. That's only possible because we don't overcommit.

Your place in the queue is confirmed when payment is received. Clients who go dormant (no response for 14 days) are moved to the back of the queue. We are always available to answer questions about your queue position — just ask.

The Pre-Flight Brief

Copy this checklist and fill it out when you contact us. A complete brief means a faster, more accurate quote.

FAQ
Send us your project brief via our contact form or WhatsApp. Include your item type, quantities, budget per unit, colors, sizes, and deadline. We will confirm receipt and send wire transfer details for the 100 MAD cost calculation fee.
An accurate quote requires real work: sourcing fabric prices, calculating construction time, factoring in branding and finishing details. The 100 MAD fee ensures we only spend that time on serious projects — and it guarantees you receive a precise quote, not a rough guess, within 24 to 48 hours.
No. There is no obligation to proceed after receiving your cost calculation. You can also order a standalone sample (500–1,000 MAD) without committing to production.
Production timelines depend on order complexity and our current queue. We provide a general timeframe when your project enters the waitlist. A confirmed delivery date is only issued when production officially begins on your specific order.
For in-house manufacturing we offer flexible, low minimum order quantities. For partner network production, minimums vary by workshop. Contact us with your project details and we will advise the best route.
Yes. We work with brands from Morocco, Europe, the Middle East, and worldwide. Our team communicates in English, French, and Arabic. All documentation and quotes are provided in your preferred language.
We can route your order through our partner network. You choose Direct Outsource (we make the connection — quality and deadlines are the partner's responsibility) or Managed Outsource (we oversee everything for a 30% management fee and guarantee the result).
We do not take phone calls or in-person meetings at the intake stage. All communication is asynchronous and documented via WhatsApp Business or email. This protects both your time and ours — nothing gets lost, and you have a written record of every agreement.
